Phone:
Helpful Hint
Use a phone number that you will actually answer, and change your voice mail to a more professional message if necessary.
Email:
Helpful Hint
Make sure your email address is professional. If your current email address, for example, is candygirl@mail.com or hotbod@inbox.com, it's time to set up a new email, such as janesmith@mail.com or jsmith99@inbox.com.
Portfolio Website
(if applicable):
Helpful Hint
Only include a personal website if it puts the employer in touch with professional information about you. Some examples of appropriate website content are copies of your résumé, reference letters, certifications, writing samples or items that might appear in a portfolio. You should never link to a website that features unprofessional photos, jokes or excessive personal information.
Step 2: Create a Career Objective
In one or two sentences, state the job type and organization type (or industry) you're aiming for. Make it simple. Consider the type of work you enjoy and want to do.

Helpful Hint
You might want to have multiple versions of your résumé with the objective tailored to each specific job opening you're applying for.
Examples:
To obtain an entry-level editing position in a large publishing company
To secure a full-time executive sales position in the advertising industry
To obtain a professional position within medical sales
Step 3: List Your Work Experiences
Starting with your most recent or current job, list your previous work experiences.
Types of experiences to add include relevant full-time or part-time work, summer jobs, internships, fieldwork and special projects.
You can put experiences like volunteering in the Additional Info section.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Step 4: Enter Your Education
